We regard accessibility not as a project with a finishing line, but as a permanent and ongoing responsibility.
This Accessibility Statement explains our commitment to digital accessibility, the standards we apply, the measures we have implemented, the known limitations we are working to address, and how you may contact us if you encounter any barrier while using our Site.
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Accessibility is one of the core values of FlexAccesses. We believe that every person, regardless of disability, age, language, device used or operating system, should be able to access information, communicate and participate online with dignity and independence. We design, build, test and maintain our Site with this principle at the centre of every decision.
Our commitment extends beyond mere legal compliance. We seek to provide an inclusive experience that is convenient to navigate with assistive technologies (such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-recognition software and alternative input devices), operable without the use of a mouse, accessible under different contrast and colour settings, and understandable for users with a wide range of cognitive and sensory abilities.
2. Conformance Status
The Site is designed to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is an internationally recognised web-accessibility standard referenced by key accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the European Accessibility Act (EAA), Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, and the EN 301 549 European standard for accessibility of information and communication technologies.
We are also working towards conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which introduces nine additional success criteria addressing the needs of users with cognitive limitations, low vision and mobility impairments. Although WCAG 2.2 has not yet been fully implemented across all pages, its requirements are taken into account in the development of every new item of content and functionality.
“Conformance” means that the Site satisfies the requirements of the relevant standard. We continuously assess conformance through a combination of automated testing, manual review and assistive-technology testing, as described in more detail in Section 4 below.
3. Accessibility Features of Our Website
The following accessibility features have been implemented on our Site:
3.1. Perceivable
Text alternatives (alt text) are provided for all non-decorative images, icons and graphical content, enabling screen-reader software to convey their meaning.
Captions, transcripts or audio descriptions are provided for video and audio materials, depending on applicability.
Colour is not used as the sole means of conveying information. Important information is also indicated through text, icons or patterns.
Text and interactive elements provide a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against their background (3:1 for large text), in accordance with WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3.
Content reflows to smaller screens without the need for horizontal scrolling at standard scaling up to 400% zoom, in accordance with WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.10.
Text size can be increased up to 200% using browser zoom without loss of content or functionality.
3.2. Operable
The entire Site is operable using a keyboard only. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields and menus) are reachable and can be activated using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space and the arrow keys.
Focus indicators remain visible at all times during keyboard navigation and provide sufficient contrast against the surrounding content.
The Site contains no content that “traps” keyboard focus. Users can always move focus from any element to another element.
A “Skip to main content” link is provided at the top of each page, allowing keyboard and screen-reader users to bypass repeated navigation blocks.
Animations, parallax effects and auto-playing media respect the user’s system-level “prefers-reduced-motion” setting and can be paused, stopped or hidden.
Time-limited interactions, where present, can be extended, paused or disabled by the user.
3.3. Understandable
Each page clearly identifies its primary language through the lang attribute, enabling assistive technologies to render the content with the correct pronunciation.
Navigation, headings and labels are consistent and predictable throughout the Site.
Form fields are clearly labelled, include helpful instructions and provide error messages that identify the issue in plain language and suggest corrective actions.
Content is written in English that is as clear and understandable as possible. Technical or legal terms are explained when first introduced.
Links use descriptive text that communicates their destination or function (for example, “Read the full DPA” instead of “click here”).
3.4. Robust
The Site is built with semantic HTML5, using appropriate landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and heading hierarchy (h1 through h6) to support assistive technologies.
ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes are used only where native HTML semantics are insufficient and only when strictly necessary.
Interactive components (modal windows, dropdown lists, accordions and tabs) follow the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices Guide and have been tested for compatibility with screen-reader software.
The Site is tested on the latest versions of major modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack).
4. How We Test and Maintain Accessibility
We apply a multi-layered approach to ensure ongoing accessibility:
Automated testing. Automated accessibility scanners (such as axe-core, WAVE and Lighthouse) are integrated into our development workflow and run with every code change. These tools identify common issues, such as missing alt text, low contrast, missing form labels and invalid ARIA usage.
Manual review. Trained accessibility specialists review new pages, components and content before release. Manual review helps identify issues that automated tools cannot detect, such as the logical sequence of headings, meaningful focus order and the quality of alt text.
Assistive-technology testing. Our team regularly tests with major screen readers (NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, and high-contrast and zoom modes.
Third-party audits. Independent accessibility audits are conducted at least once a year by qualified external experts, and identified issues are addressed consistently.
User feedback. We actively encourage feedback from users with disabilities and treat every reported issue as a priority for further investigation and remediation.
Training. Our designers, developers, content creators and customer-facing teams receive ongoing training on accessibility principles, WCAG requirements and inclusive-design practices.
5. Known Limitations
Despite all our efforts to ensure accessibility, certain content or functionality may still not be fully accessible. We are transparent about these limitations and actively work to resolve them.

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, you have the right to refer the matter to the competent authority in your country. Examples include:
European Union. The national accessibility monitoring body of the EU Member State in which you reside, designated pursuant to the Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102) or the European Accessibility Act.
United Kingdom. The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) or the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
United States of America. The U.S. Department of Justice (for ADA Title III matters) or, in the case of federal agencies, the relevant agency under Section 508.
Republic of Armenia. The competent state authority designated under applicable legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities and consumer protection.
9. Date and Last Review of This Statement
The Statement is reviewed at least once per year and after any material change to the Site. The conformance-assessment methodology applied is self-assessment combined with automated tools and periodic third-party audits.
